New dual-axis scanner
Established in 1984, Phoenix Inspection Systems will be using Materials Testing 2009 to market its ranges of manual and automatic scanners for use with pulse echo, TOFD and phased array instrumentation.
A highlight of the display will be a demonstration of the Magscan, a new dual-axis motorised scanner which enables users to quickly set up an inspection and drive up to six probes circumferentially around a pipe and/or axially if required.
Phoenix ISL also specialises in standard and special ultrasonic transducers, turbine inspection systems and offers a consultancy service.
