The Venue
The 2008 event will be held at Shrigley Hall Hotel, Golf and Country Club in Cheshire. Located near Macclesfield, the hotel is conveniently situated in a country park just 15 miles south of Manchester airport, with stunning views over 262 acres of spectacular countryside.
The Programme and Exhibition
We have three sessions running in parallel covering a wide range of advances in NDT fields. The table top exhibition of 30 leading NDT goods and services suppliers will provide an ideal opportunity to investigate the up-to-date technology available.
Abstracts
The Institute web page is updated with the abstracts, allowing us to use the smaller programme format we have used in recent years. If you do not have access to the internet and would like a paper copy, just give us a call.
Co-sponsors
The conference is co-sponsored by UKTA but more sponsors are welcome. If your Institute is able to co-sponsor the event, (no financial support is required), we are able to offer you our co-sponsor discount rate.
Accommodation
Hotel accommodation is in the Conference Hotel. If you require accommodation in the Conference Hotel, click here to download the booking form, complete the form and send this direct to the hotel as soon as possible. Quote 'BINDT Conf' in all communications.

Companion's Programme
In previous years we have been able to offer our regular chauffeur Brian but, due to his retirement, we are no longer able to support the fully-guided companion’s programme. The companion’s programme fee does cover evening meals for the Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evening. Due to the location, Shrigley Hall provides a wealth of on-site activities including:
