AGR Field Operations kept busy at Indian show
The Indian Society for Non-Destructive Testing (ISNT) held its NDE 2009 show in Tiruchirappalli from 10 to 12 December 2009. 
The show was hosted by the local chapter of the ISNT. Modsonic, Indian distributor for AGR's TD range of ultrasonic products, was one of the Silver Sponsors.

Olympus aids development of reference standards in optical assistance system project
The Olympus LEXT OLS4000 has been chosen by Germany's national metrology institute, the PTB, for use in a joint project that aims to develop an assistance system for confocal and interferential microscope users. As an advanced example of the instrumentation that the 'Optassyst' project focuses on, the LEXT OLS4000 will help to provide measurements to check the specifications of standards and measurement procedures.

The 5th Middle East Conference and Exhibition was held in Bahrain in November 2009, with 72 exhibitors and around 500 delegates. The theme this year was 'Advanced Digital Technology in the Field of NDT (RT, UT and Advanced UT)'.
